Each day is centered in a Christian atmosphere with an opportunity for daily small group Bible studies. On Monday, Wednesday and Thursday we will travel offsite to enjoy a unique local location.

Register for the full week, $247, and get a discount! If you only need a few days within the week, you can register for individual days, Tuesday and Friday cost $40 per day per camper and Monday, Wednesday and Thursday cost $60 per day per camper. Spring Break F.A.Q.

What should I send to camp with my child?

**Be sure to label everything with your campers first and last name.**

Water Bottle-Campers will be outside all day, so a water bottle is a must! The camp has many water fountains so that campers can refill their water bottles.

Clothing-Bring a swimsuit and a fresh towel for each day water games or swimming in the pool is scheduled. Please also send a change of clothes with your child for after the pool.  When picking clothes to send with your camper, take into consideration the weather forecast and the camp activities. Camp activities continue rain or shine, so on rainy days campers may need a poncho or raincoat with a hat. We encourage you to have your campers wear old clothing to camp since they will be swimming, participating in outdoor games, and hiking through the woods.

Shoes-Campers should wear either old athletic shoes or sandals with a tight back strap. Due to the running activities athletic shoes are better for the campers. Flip Flops are not a good idea for footwear at camp except for using at water related activities.

Sunscreen and Bug Repellant– Lotion, pump-action, or wipe only. Please no aerosol sprays.

Putting it all together-A backpack is a great way to bring items to camp, and bring everything home. Please mark child’s name on backpack.

What are the pick-up and drop-off times at camp?

Drop-off at camp is between 7:30 am-8:15 am. Pick-up is between 5:00-6:00 pm. Late fees may be incurred if your child isn’t picked up by 6:00 pm. IF you need to drop-off later or pick-up earlier, please come to the front office, in the main lodge. Day Campers could be participating in activities all around the camp, so please allow yourself extra time for drop-off and pick-up if you are coming at a non-traditional time.

Where is the Warren Willis United Methodist Camp and Conference Center?

Warren Willis Camp is located on 150 acres on the shores of Lake Griffin with a physical address of 4990 Picciola Rd. in Fruitland Park, FL. Please look for signs to direct you to drop off and pick up locations.

What precautions are taken when campers are swimming in the pool?

While the swimming pool at camp is super fun, it could still have very cold pool water in March. Because of this, we have scheduled fun water-related activities for Spring Break, but they may not be located at the pool. As the week gets closer, and the weather becomes warmer, we may add pool time to our schedule.

If we use the pool during Spring Break, then it is important to know all campers must take a swimming test to demonstrate their swimming ability. We have a shallow area in our pool which allows for all non-swimmers to be in the pool, but campers who are not able to pass the swimming test will have restricted access to our slides and deeper areas of the pool. Campers will be outfitted with a colored band to let lifeguards know their swimming ability. There will be times set aside for non-swimmers to access the slides, There will be more staff allocated to that area when they are there to make it fun and safe.

What happens if it rains?

Warren Willis Camp is blessed to have such a magnificent natural setting to implement our programs. When it rains our camp day proceeds as usual. Campers may come home wet or muddy on rainy days. When rain is accompanied by thunder and lightning, all campers are moved to covered areas. Indoor activities may include, arts & crafts, movies, games, etc.

We can’t come everyday, do we have to pay for the package?

You can register for individual days or select the whole week as a package. Do not register for individual days if you want the 5-day package.

Lake County Schools kids have the Friday before spring break off, too. Is this included in the package price?

This is an additional day, and is not in the package price. If you wanted Friday and the week of spring break, you would register for two programs… the Friday day camp and the spring break package.
